Dear Park’s Edge Preschool Families,
July here we come! It’s officially summer when you hear the music from Granny’s Treats every Thursday afternoon. Watching the children get so excited to show me which treat they picked is the best part!
Thursday, June 18, was an eventful day. In the morning, over 80 bikes, scooters, and baby buggies were blessed by Jonah from Emanuel Church. It is such a great way to start the summer, making sure the children have a safe ride wherever their summer adventures take them. In the afternoon, we celebrated with 120 dads and children at our annual Father’s Day Celebration. It was so much fun to watch everyone play mini golf and enjoy the Kona Ice Truck. Thank you to all the dads who attended.
We are so excited to welcome back Ms. Bella, Ms. Jennifer, and Ms. Susan for the summer. They jumped right back into the program, and the children were excited to see them. It is so helpful to have extra hands for field trips and all the additional fun activities summer has in store.
Just a reminder that we are closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday! Regular charges apply.
It’s that time again… Emanuel Church is having their annual Vacation Bible School from July 27–July 30, 2026 (Monday through Thursday), from 5:30–7:30 p.m. The theme is Rome: Paul and the Underground Church. There is a sign-up at the Park’s Edge front desk. It is for children ages 3 and up, and all children must be potty trained. Dinner is provided. The children are walked to VBS from their classroom when it starts. Please let us know if you have any questions about Vacation Bible School.
Field trips are off to a great start for our Stars, Moons, Young Snakes, and Older Snakes classrooms. They are looking forward to their annual walking trip to McDonald’s, scheduled for Thursday, July 3. They have been busy cooking in the kitchen, making the most delicious banana bread. The car wash was a huge success; they raised over $200 for their pizza party. They took pride in making sure that every spot was cleaned! They even got to wash the bus.
Community Happenings:
Mark your calendar: Tuesday, August 4 is Hales Corners Night Out from 5:30–8:00 p.m. There will be over 25 vendor booths, live music, a car and boat show, raffles, face painting, fire and police vehicles, kids’ games, food, and beverages. It is a fun night for the whole family. Stop by our booth and say hello!
