Dear Park’s Edge Preschool Families:

‘Seeing red’ at Park’s Edge Preschool was the valentine theme on Wednesday, February 14th complemented with a Valentine’s Day Parade. Thank you families for participating in helping your child decorate a box or envelope for the many valentines your child collected from their classmates. Children of all ages were busy with Valentine festivities throughout the week. Valentine’s week at Park’s Edge Preschool is very special time of year and allows the children and staff an opportunity to spread God’s message to the larger community. The preschool children decorated home-made valentines for senior residents at Forest Ridge Senior Community and the Hales Corners Care Center. An intergenerational opportunity lies ahead in visiting them on some of our summer field trip excursions. Take a peek at our summer program packet available soon!

Is it a coincidence that good dental hygiene month is in February after enjoying sweet Valentine treats? Last month the preschoolers learned about good dental hygiene and healthy nutrition too. Tuesday, February 6th the preschool children were treated to a visit from Paramount Pediatric Dentistry. Wednesday, February 21st, Park’s Edge Preschool children, ages 2 through school age, were ‘treated’ to Rick Allen’s Magic Show titled ‘Awesome Teeth’! Our goal at Park’s Edge Preschool is to encourage many future healthy smiles.

Smile pretty for the camera please…Picture Day at PEP is Thursday, March 22nd from 7 to 11 a.m. Individual, sibling and group photographs will be taken by Lifetouch.
