Music Monday, April 13: Each classroom will be making musical instruments for the parade on Thursday at 10am. Music Monday is more than singing and dancing, it’s a way to encourage children to be active while developing their early literacy skills and having fun with friends and family!
Tasty Tuesday, April 14 & Wednesday, April 15: We have ‘Brunch-to-go” for families to pickup on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. Celebrate your special day—because without parents there would not be children to celebrate! Thank you to all our families for allowing us to care for your children, we value the partnership we establish in working with your family.
Work Together Wednesday, April 15: “PEP’s Board Member Appreciation Day.” Special ‘thank you’ cards from PEP staff and children will be sent to let them know how much we genuinely appreciate our dedicated board members. Thank you to 2026 PEP Board of Directors: President-Mary Pelkofer; Treasurer-Nick Alonge; Secretary-Lauren Wesolowski: Mike Deml, Amber Handy, Kyle Wallin, Mary Therese Mack, Carl Anderson, and Allison Fine. We appreciate our board for volunteering to focus on the high-level strategy, oversight, and accountability of the organization. Thank you for your time, talent, and commitment to the families, children, and staff of Park’s Edge Preschool 😊.
Artsy Thursday, April 16: WOYC Parade Celebration is at 10am.We will have some of the artwork that children have made displayed for everyone to see. All our welcome to attend. Children develop creativity, social skills, and fine motor skills with open-ended art projects that let them make choices, use their imaginations, and create with their hands.
Family Friday, April 17: Children will celebrate the last day of PEP’s Week of the Young Child by wearing their Pajamas and having a Movie Day (lower level only). Each year we pick a charitable donation to an organization and this year, we chose the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. We recently had a child diagnosed and would love to give this organization support as they search for a cure. If you could please fill out the form located in your mailbox with an amount, we will take it out of Tuition Express and write a check on behalf of all the families at Park’s Edge Preschool. It’s a fun day for the children to wear their PJ’s and support a great cause. Thank you for making this a fantastic week!
