Dear Park’s Edge Preschool Families:
We are excited about the start of the new school year and welcoming new families to the program. We are sad to say good-bye to those departing for fall. We wish our college-bound staff lots of luck this school year and look forward to their return during winter break.
On Friday, August 9, the Slithering Snakes went to the Hunger Task Force and helped unload 247lbs of food for those in need. They also got to take a tour of the facility and hear about how their donation makes a difference. Thank you to all who donated.
All good things must come to an end… Granny’s Treats served their last ice cream treat on Tuesday, August 27. It’s so hard to say good-bye, but we look forward to next summer!
Lots of exciting events/ updates are happening this month at Park’s Edge. Mark your calendars: Thursday, September 5 from 5:30-7pm is PEP’s Annual Open House. Families are invited to come and meet the staff and grab a slice of pizza as they check out each classroom. Family friendly activities will be held in every classroom as well. Families will also receive updated staff biographies to get to know more about our wonderful teachers.
Friday, September 6 will be Grandparents Day from 4-5pm. There will be an activity in the classroom as well as cookie decorating for all grandparents. Please look for a sign-up at the front desk.
Our upstairs classrooms will be closed Friday, September 20 through Tuesday, September 24 for the installation of new windows. We will have all carpets cleaned during the closure. The following Saturday, September 28, the upstairs classroom will be painted as well. The final step will be adding blinds, they will be ordered once the windows are installed. We are excited about the update to the environment, and we appreciate your understanding during this time. Reminder, there will be no charges for the children in the upstairs classroom only during the closure. The lower level will remain open during this time.

Float Staff- Ms. Nola & Ms. Savannah.
Friendly Reminder: Annual Registration Fee will be charged to your account Monday, September 9, for continued enrollment in fall. It is $100 one child/$150 family.
Park’s Edge Preschool will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 2. Have a restful holiday weekend after a busy summer!
