Dear Park’s Edge Preschool Families,
April was filled with lots of excitement. We started off the month celebrating the national ‘Week of the Young Child.’ The WOYC is a time to recognize young children, their families and the community that helps support their growth and development. Thank you for choosing Park’s Edge Preschool for your child’s early childhood education!
A huge ‘Thank you’ goes out to all the families for making the week of April 28 a huge celebration for Teacher Appreciation week. Everyday staff could not wait to come in and see what was happening for the day. Some highlights were personalized cups, homemade bagels and cream cheese, personalized ‘thank you’ notes from the children and we rounded out the week with a catered lunch from That’s Amore. A huge shout out to Katlin Andrejczak and Mary Therese Mack for coordinating everything, we really appreciated all your hard work and coordination of everything!
Thursday, April 24 was Parent-Teacher Conference Night. Thank you to all the families who attended. Just a reminder to return the binder if you haven’t done so already. The teachers are already collecting more pages for the portfolios. Please make sure to fill out a Parent Survey too. The feedback from the survey provides us with valuable information to plan trainings for the future, and ways we can improve your child’s care. The box is located on top of the parent mailboxes.
We have another fabulous and safe summer planned this year! The summer program calendars, for ages 4 & up, went out during the spring fling. The summer program starts Monday, June 16. There is a flat fee of $150 collected for the summer programming. That will be taken out of Tuition Express on Monday, June 2. The summer field trip packets will be distributed the week of May 12 and will need to be returned no later than Friday, May 23 to ensure that we are ready to transport children on their first field trip.
Calling all mothers and grandmothers for a Mother’s Day Breakfast!!! Friday, May 9, from 7-8am, we will be providing you with breakfast that will be served in Kurth Hall. The menu includes cheese omelets, sausage, donuts, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and milk. Please watch for an invitation in your mailbox. RSVP sheet will be located at the front desk. We wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day.
Thursday, May 22, we celebrate a big milestone at Park’s Edge Preschool. The 2025 Preschool Graduation Ceremony is for children who are entering 5k in the fall. This is an exciting event for parents and staff. A family invitation will be mailed to your house. All family is welcome that night. There will be a sign up at the front desk. Congratulations to all 2025 graduates!
PEP will be closed Monday, May 26 in honor of Memorial Day. Regular tuition charges are applied. Thank you to those who lost their lives in service to our country. Please have a safe and memorable Memorial Day weekend.
