Park’s Edge Preschool’s 25-year anniversary was a success! We had an amazing turn out and are so blessed that most of our families were able to attend and celebrate our presence in the community. The face painting, games, food, dance, and bounce house were so much fun, but looking at photos and learning about PEP’s history was wonderful! We hope you all had as much fun as we did!
We had a wonderful Father’s Day celebration on June 13th. Every classroom had activities that the dads and grandpas of park’s edge took part in with the children. We are grateful to all who were able to attend and hope you all had a lovely Father’s Day!
We have some teachers who are back for the summer! Ms. Bella, Ms. Alex, Ms. Emily H. and Ms. Makenna are all here for the Summer! We are grateful for their help and look forward to having them with us for some summer fun.
Just a reminder that we are closed July 4th, 2024. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday! If you will not be here July 5th, please let your child’s teacher know.
Emanuel Church is having their vacation bible school July 22nd to July 26th, 2024. The theme is Nazareth: Where Jesus was a Kid! There is a sign up at Park’s Edge front desk. It is for children ages 3 and up, and all children must be potty trained. There are postcards in everyone’s mailboxes. Please let us know if you have any questions about vacation bible school.
We have some fun field trips this month for our Stars, Moons, Young Snakes, and Older Snakes classrooms.
July 3rd Walking to McDonalds, July 9th going to Greendale Community Park, July 17th is the Wehr Nature Center, July 18th we are going to the Bear’s Den, July 23rd is hiking at Seven Bridges, July 24th we are going to the Milwaukee Public Museum, and July 31st is a trip to Whitnall Park.
The children and teachers are all excited for the many adventures we will have in July! Please let us know if you have any questions about field trips this summer.
July 11th will be the start of my maternity leave. I look forward to hearing all about the summer and bringing my baby back to meet everyone at the end of September. While I am out please reach out to Kristin@parksedgepreschool.com with any questions or concerns. I have had so many people congratulating me so thank you all for the prayers and kind words! I also look forward to bringing back coffee with the director once I return in fall. Our first coffee with the director will be November 7th, 2024. More details to come once we get closer!
